Polaris 3083 and Team La Trobe commit to enhancing community sport in Melbourne’s North
Long-term supporters of the La Trobe University Football Club, Polaris 3083 , the inner north’s largest, masterplanned precinct, has now expanded their sponsorship to Team La Trobe for 2019.
The sponsorship will see Polaris work with La Trobe Sport to enable more students, staff and the local community to get active through a range of Team La Trobe offerings, including clubs, community events, and the La Trobe Indoor Sports Centre.
La Trobe Sport Senior Manager, Bronwyn Neeson, said the sponsorship just makes sense, “Polaris and Team La Trobe are committed to providing a thriving community sport environment in Melbourne’s northern corridor”
This sentiment was echoed by David Kobritz, Dealcorp Executive Chairman, “La Trobe University is the largest institutional neighbour of Polaris 3083. We share the same values of community, support and growth. We are proud to support the students, staff and broader neighbourhood through this ongoing partnership.”
Featuring over 35 cafes, shops restaurants, services and more, Polaris is now home to over 750 residents as well as a modern retail and dining precinct.
The community development is located on Plenty Road, just two minutes away from La Trobe University’s Bundoora Campus.
